In November of 1962 , J.T Pollard started Pollard Milling Company. This Old-Fashioned corn mill was a real hit to the general public. Monday through Friday , he and his family worked hard to keep their dream alive. During the early years of operation he set aside Thursdays to grind for the public. People in the local area would bring their corn to be ground in the mill; at the time he charged only 3 cents a pound! This Stone-Ground mill is still ground the same way as it was years ago; the stones that J.T started with are still in operation today!
